Some call her country and some call her pop, others hear soul & blues.
Singer-songwriter Kylie Jane’s affinity for music started at a young age. During her childhood on the stunning Mid-North Coast, Kylie would spend weekends travelling and competing at various horse shows across NSW. This was where her ears were opened to a variety of musical influences. At twelve years of age, Kylie’s family moved to Dubbo, NSW where her songbird journey began.
Kylie later moved to Newcastle, NSW and finished senior high school at the Hunter School of Performing Arts. Kylie flourished in this environment, learning valuable skills that she would use to begin her career as a full-time musician.
In 2016, Kylie was chosen to be a contestant on the hit reality TV show, The Voice. Proving she can silence a crowd with her unique talent, Kylie Jane displayed her ability to perform any song and make it her own.
Kylie released her debut album "Black Swan" in 2017, following her time on The Voice. She drew inspiration from country and soul, adding to the pop undertones of the record. Kylie’s talent fluently blends styles and delivers a unique sound to captivate her audience.
Later in the year, Kylie was asked to perform the Australian national anthem at Newcastle’s first year of hosting ‘The Coats Hire 500 Supercar’s Championship’. Representing Newcastle at this level was an incredible experience and Kylie was honoured to be involved.
Still living in Newcastle, Kylie Jane is a full-time artist and has been fortunate enough to perform countless shows throughout the region. She is highly regarded within the wedding & corporate industry for her ability to create an unforgettable occasion.
